Take Your Arctic Circle Winter Drive from Fairbanks, Alaska

Discover winter in Alaska’s Arctic as you travel the famed Dalton Highway, view the remarkable Trans Alaska Pipeline and experience the mighty Yukon River up close while exploring the amazing arctic tundra; you’ll cross the Arctic Circle and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate that marks this unique journey. You’ll enjoy the legendary hospitality and authentic interpretation that made the original Arctic Circle Drive Adventure famous, with each tour shaped by ever-changing daylight so your day may include more night than day depending on when you travel. Note that this is not an Aurora tour-while it will be dark on the return to Fairbanks, the tour does not stay out later waiting for the aurora, so consider an Aurora Adventure if your primary goal is northern lights viewing; we also offer an Arctic Circle Aurora Drive Adventure. Stops are frequent and vary in distance-the longest time between stops is about two hours, though many stops are closer, and most stops have an outhouse-making this a memorable, accessible winter sightseeing experience in the Arctic.
